Project UB22

A project in collaboration with Adidas for the Ultraboost 22.

When the sportswear brand team approached me to work with them on their upcoming Ultraboost 22 pair, I was absolutely thrilled. I have been a fan of the brand for ages. This pair was designed by women for women and I loved that this aligned with my values as an artist.

I was given the chance to experiment with different approaches and ideas. The project was also a chance for me to combine my visual art style and design-solving skills.

Part of the challenge is for me to make sure that the design has a function. Women should be safe while running around in them. I experimented with materials and came up with a unique paint mixture. I had to make sure that the paint wouldn’t damage the shoe material and that it’ll reflect when they run at night.

Additionally, I designed the dubraes and print for the tote bags. Shoelaces were changed to give it a fully revamped look.
